Happy Trails Riding Center West Linn, Oregon

 RANCH ROUNDUP

We are so excited to be in our 4th year at Happy Trails Riding Center.  This last year brought so many firsts for Happy Trails.  Our first year with a barn, stalls and an indoor riding arena, our first big fundraising efforts in National Day of the American Cowboy and Tasting Along the Trail but most importantly our record number of riders.  As we start our 5th year we are looking forward to meeting new riders, sharing the growth of our existing riders and continuing to serve our neighbors in the Lake Oswego, West Linn and Wilsonville communities.

As a non-profit organization we rely on the kindness and donations from those of you in our community.  Our goal this year is to continue to build on our fundraising efforts.  On July 25th we'll have our second annual National Day of the American Cowboy fundraiser and October 17th, Tasting along the Trail along with our annual Ride-a-Ton August 8th.  We hope you'll join us for these three dates as the funds raised from the events allow Happy Trails to continue to grow our riding program, our summer camps and maintain our facility and care for our horses.  As Helen Keller said, "Alone we can do so little.  Together we can do so much."  We look forward to your commitment to our program through riding, volunteering or donating.

Rosemary Liniger - Chairman of the Board and Volunteer Rosemary found her way to Happy Trails through her horse Sky who spent his last two summers carrying our treasured riders.  Rosemary is an avid equestrian who recently retired after 15 years in the athletic and equestrian apparel business to focus more time on Happy Trails Riding Center.  She currently spearheads the fundraising efforts and spends Saturdays and Sundays as a volunteer working with the horses and riders.  Asked why she chose Happy Trails, Rosemary is quick to reply, "There is nothing better then watching the interaction between a horse and rider who wouldn't ordinarily have that moment in time.

John Burrow - is a natural fit here at Happy Trails as a long time resident of Lake Oswego.  John has spent his career as an investment advisor and brings a strong sense of "yes we can" to our board.
